We drove to Canada and attended a retreat of InterAct church planters in Golden BC. It was good to see many of our friends we have not seen for a long time.It was a winter time drive, but the Rockies were beautiful . Not one picture to share-Oh well.
We also attended a retreat here with the elders of our church. We are especially blessed by our church and the leaders who lead us in such a caring manner.
I also just returned from a retreat in Alaska. Our son Marty has started a ministry called "Double Honor" where he is ministering to rural Alaskan pastors. We had a great retreat and I am encouraged with progress of this ministry and how it is ministering to special servants of God who minister in isolated and lonely places without very much recognition and encouragement. I am also encouraged that some of the bigger churches in population areas are supporting and encouraging this ministry.
Since the retreat was in Palmer and all three of our children's families live in the area, I had a chance to have some significant family times.
I am overwhelmed with the love our family here and there express to us.
And talk about easy to love back. What a couch full of easy to love great grandkids.
