Our youngest, Marianne had a great personal accomplishment by completing the Mayor's Marathon on Anchorage, Alaska last weekend. We are proud of her. It involved more than running the 26 miles. It was accomplished by hours of training over the last few months.
Much of it in dark and cold Alaska winter. Her husband Scott was very supportive by helping
with household chores so Marriane could take the time to train.
Our son Matt ran and completed a marathon in Newport, Oregon a few years ago. He is now training for the famous Hood to Coast run this August. (Mt Hood to Oregon Coast)
He a and a few others are training now. Two of our grandson's are on that team.

Thanks for the kudos! Being a non-athletic person, it was fun to finally getting a 'sports medal' at the age of 43. ( :
